Ron Gallo has had one hell of a breakout year.  He released his second debut record “HEAVY META” on February 4th and since then has traversed the world (U.S. and Europe) bringing his brand of “weirdo, garage-punk, rock music fronted by observational and often humorous lyricism” to everything from Parisian basements to festival main stages 10 minutes after doors.

One thing Gallo has not done this year is shut up when it comes to the state of the world… and his own being.  We don’t know how the future indie darling does it, but amidst a grueling tour schedule opening for some of the hottest bands in rock today - The Black Angels, Twin Peaks, White Reaper and a one time first of three opening slot with Thee Oh Sees he still finds time to stay inspired, write and record and release new, and might we even dare say “meaningful” music.  “I think Ron Gallo will become the most important artist of the next 10 years”, says Chris Sunday of Bedlam Management, who also manages Gallo.

So today, we are happy to be the exclusive premiere partner for a new single entitled “Sorry Not Everybody is You” which is part of a split EP with Seattle based garage-rockers, Naked Giants.  Of the track Gallo says,

“Man, all this hate stuff, man, and now this whole Apple glitch where people can’t type “I”, man, sometimes I look out there into the world from my porch, I see CVS, I see a Walgreen’s and I’m like, man, those are like two names for the same thing, man, and people are just like convenience stores in that sense man, all one in the same and man, it’s 2017 and why can’t people just see it - the oneness man.  So, like, being inspired by this world I felt compelled by the divine sources and was gifted this song to share with the universe, like a job interview for Chik-Fil-A, but like, trying to get haters to get over their hate, man. Enjoy!!!!  And don’t miss that digital b-side, my friends Naked Giants man, they are one of the best bands i’ve seen, and their song “The Age of Information” is a banger man and it’s about THIS, like THIS, right now, HERE. Go outside!”
