My good friend Brian Strouse is one magical, lovable, naturally comical weirdo who has written some of my favorite songs in recent years and I am fortunate enough to know him. He is the brainchild and leader of one of the finest bands around, The Lawsuits. In October they released a brilliant record called "Cool Cool Cool" and this song is on it and I love this song that is on it and so i did a version of it for Root Down in the Shadow's "Cover Club". If the original is the kiss scene in the Notebook where they run at each other on the dock then this is the scene where he builds the house. I don't know what that means. Enjoy.
